Ethical Buying

Ethical Buying is a an online store who sell a range of products for consumers who are more ethically aware. They have put in the time to find products which meet criteria including the product being environmentally friendly, from suppliers where the welfare of animals is considered, sourced from fair trade and organic practices. Items do not have the significant increased prices which is often true when buying ethically aware.
They will make a donation to TreeProject each month equal to 2 percent of the value of your purchases. For this to happen, you need to nominate Treeproject at the checkout stage when making your purchases. Tell your friends about it to increase the value of donations to TreeProject.

Intrepid Travel specialise in small group tours to Asia that
are not only amazing experiences, but tread lightly on the
environments
they visit. They also support many community and environmental projects
in Asia and Australia . They are truly a responsible and modern
corporate citizen!
Intrepid Travel have been supporters of TreeProject for
several years.
Their support has been financial aswell as active volunteering. Since
2001
Intrepid Travel staff have attended annual tree planting days; their
aim
was to plant as many trees that would offset the paper they used in
their
travel brochures. As a result they have not only planted many trees,
but
have helped to restore a wetland area in Yarra Bend Park , Melbourne
.
ANZ Staff Foundation
The ANZ Staff Foundation provided funding to TreeProject in 2002, in
order to develop a volunteer program with ANZ staff members across
Victoria .
We will begin taking ANZ employees out on planting days in autumn 2003
–
we aim to get groups of bankers away from their desks and getting their
hands dirty planting trees!

Transurban
In 2003 Transurban joined with TreeProject to help promote The Re-Tree
Scheme to landholders across Victoria. With Transurban's help,
TreeProject has been able to undertake a professional promotional
campaign and spruce up our landholder information kits, making The
Re-Tree Scheme more accessible to more people. That can only be good
for our environment.
And Transurban staff are not only happy with supporting TreeProject's
promotional activities, but they want to get their hands dirty. So we
will be taking Transurban
staff out on a planting day, and providing them with growing kits so
they
can participate in our growing program.
